Jesus taught love. He taught us to listen and understand, rather than jump to conclusions. We all known someone who might be difficult, someone we might have an awkward time understanding or even befriending; perhaps a neighbor, a classmate, a relative or even a fellow parishioner. A good steward would not simply leave things as they are; but rather would attempt to understand this individual, looking for an opportunity to show Jesus' love. Begin perhaps with a prayer for this person and one as well for yourself. Stewardship and Jesus' love lead to compassion, tolerance and understanding.
