Brittney Pualani Malunao Barretto Elvenia
Confirmation Name: St. Theresa of Avila
"Hi, my name is Brittney Pualani Malunao Barretto Elvenia and I'm currently a junior at James Campbell High School. According to the dictionary, Confirmation in the Christian Church means the Rite at which a baptized person affirms Christian belief and is admitted as a full member of the Church. But, through my eyes, Confirmation is much more than it seems. It's a spiritual journey in which there will be struggles, hardships, and doubts about our Catholic Church. It's an emotional process where joyful or guilty tears are shed; it's a whole new experience in which God shows you guidance to worship, to bow down, to be a humble servant. Confirmation is not just a class; rather a process that every teen will go through to truly learn what it means to officially be, and forever will be a Catholic."

Despite sometimes falling out of my faith, confirmation welcomes me back to God. It reminds me of the wonders it has given me and I'm glad to be able to experience it. Please pray for me."
